The arbitrators of WTCMAC must be natural persons of full capacity, regardless of their nationality or place of residence, with recognized merit and professional ethics, regardless of their professional background, provided that they are capable of independently and impartially judging disputes submitted to arbitration under the terms of the WTCMAC's Regulation. In exceptional circumstances, if the register of arbitrators does not include a person who meets the qualifications required by the special conditions of the dispute, the WTCMAC may appoint a person who is not on the register, in accordance with the provisions of the arbitration agreement or the powers conferred on it by the Regulation.
