WTC Macau Arbitration Center Participates in the 2nd China–ASEAN Regional Legal Cooperation Forum and 2025 Asia ADR Symposium to Foster Cross-Border Legal Exchange

On 23 August 2025, Ms. Leong Ka Wai, Legal Assistant of the World Trade Center Macau Arbitration Center (hereinafter referred to as “the Center”), represented the institution at the 2nd China–ASEAN Regional Legal Cooperation Forum and the 2025 Asia Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Symposium. The event was jointly organised in Nanning, Guangxi by the Nanning Arbitration Commission (Nanning International Arbitration Court), the Asian Institute of Alternative Dispute Resolution (AIADR), and Guangxi University.

Held under the theme “Smart Dispute Resolution in the East: Orchestrating the Future Amid Asia’s Digital Wave”, the symposium attracted over 300 legal professionals, scholars, and policymakers from 11 countries and regions. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including cross-border commercial dispute resolution, legal system integration, talent development, and institutional cooperation—sharing practical experiences and cutting-edge insights.

Through active participation in this international exchange platform, the Center reaffirmed its commitment to openness, professionalism, and collaboration. Moving forward, it will continue to play a proactive role in regional rule-of-law initiatives and global engagement, contributing to system integration and resource sharing, and supporting the development of a fair and efficient dispute resolution environment.
