President of the CCGE Visits WTCMAC to Deepen Cooperation

On October 25, 2025, Dr. Don Benjamín MITOGO BIELO President of the Equatorial Guinea Chamber of Commerce (Câmara de Comércio da Guiné Equatorial, hereinafter “CCGE”) visited the Macau World Trade Center Arbitration Center (hereinafter “WTCMAC”) and was received by Dra. Wong Sok Hei, Secretary-General of the WTCMAC

During the meeting, Secretary-General Wong introduced the Center’s service, arbitration advantages and international positioning. She noted that, since the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation with the CCGE in July 2025, both parties hope to deepen cooperation, including holding exchange sessions and workshops, and mutually recommending arbitrators and mediators.

Dr Don Benjamín MITOGO BIELO expressed his enthusiasm for expanding cooperation with the WTCMAC, and plans to hold online or in-person exchange activities in 2026, either in Macau or in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea, to enhance mutual understanding of Macau law and African law.

This visit marks a further step in strengthening cooperation between the WTCMAC and the CCGE, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation in arbitration, mediation, and international exchanges.

Guests attending the meeting included Dra. Ceila Nchaso Toca, Director of the CCGE Office; Dra. Librada Ela Asumu, mediator (Peace and conflict resolution); Ms. Daniela Maye, Head of Global Business Development; and Ms. Choi Lai Wan and Ms. Leong Weng Ian, legal assistants of the WTCMAC.
