The “WTC Macau Arbitration Center” has launched its first Mediator Accreditation Examination in April 2013 to allow mediators who have been trained in Macau to have an opportunity to attain recognition in profession.

The Mediator Accreditation Examination consisted of two parts: a written examination and a simulated mediation case which took place on April 25 & 28, 2013 respectively. Candidates included, among others, students from the “Mediation Course” organized by “WTC Macau Arbitration Center” who had completed a minimum of 40-hour mediation training course in Macau. The examination mainly assessed the candidates if they have mastered the knowledge, techniques and skills and whether they can apply them on the simulated mediation case.
