*Members of the organizational bodies and staff of the World Trade Center Macao Arbitration Center shall not participate in the arbitration, mediation and/or other alternative dispute resolution proceedings held in accordance with the Regulation, whether as arbitrators, mediators or agents of the parties.

*The mediators of WTCMAC must be natural persons of full capacity, regardless of their nationality or place of residence, with recognized merit and professional ethics, regardless of their professional background, provided that they are capable of independently and impartially judging disputes submitted to mediation under the terms of the WTCMAC's Regulation. In exceptional circumstances, if the register of mediators does not include a person who meets the qualifications required by the special conditions of the dispute, the WTCMAC may appoint a person who is not on the register, in accordance with the provisions of the agreement to mediate or the powers conferred on it by the Regulation.
